Her birth name is Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on July 9 1983. She began her career as a real estate agent after she graduated from school. It was here that she made friends with Tarek. After the 2008 crash of the stock market, many investors in real estate and those who were homeowners lost their funds. Tarek El Moussa & Christina El Moussa nearly financially bankrupted after the stock market crash of 2008. They moved from an apartment that cost $6,000 per month to an apartment that cost $700 a month. The business and economy as a whole, gradually returned. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted the help of a friend to make an audition tape for HGTV that featured Christina reflipping properties starting from scratch. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. They fell in love with Tarek & Christina. In 2012 the couple reached a deal with HGTV. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013 Between 2013 and 2017 the show broadcast 92 episode. Christina and Tarek bought houses located in Orange County that were usually middle income houses. They spent the next months renovating their home so that they can flip the property for profit.
