Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. She comes from Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish heritage. Linda was the youngest child of four children in San Francisco Bay, California. As a ten-year-old old, Linda became fascinated with acting following her performance in the role of a singer in the Christmas show at her school. She did school and community shows. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. Her choice was among New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and television after she graduated. LA was her first choice. Linda's first part was in the 1996 series Bone Chillers. Freaks and Geeks was the character that led to her breakthrough. She played the role of academic Decathlete Lindsay Weir on the celebrated series, which won an Emmy Award in the Category of Outstanding Casting for the Comedy Series

Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on April 5, 1989) is an English actor from England. Her career began as a British actor in Just William (2010), a British show that aired on British television. Cinderella (2015) became her first feature film, following the role she played Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey which was a time-based drama. James later played the the Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. She has also starred in many films including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018 and The Dig 2021, as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 in her role as Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
